Crash reporting in Abacus Practice

When something goes wrong, we want to fix it quickly without learning anything about your child.

• Google Play crash reports. If your phone is set to share usage and diagnostics with Google, Google may send us a report when the app crashes. It shows the phone model, Android version, app version and where in our code the crash happened. You can switch this sharing off in your phone's Google settings.
• Our own error reports. If the app hits an error, it may send us a short technical report: app version, Android version, phone model and where in our code the error happened. It never includes your child's name, progress or any number that identifies your phone or family. We delete these reports after 90 days.

We use crash and error reports only to fix bugs. We never use them for advertising and never share them, except with the hosting providers that store them for us (Google and Cloudflare).
